My name is Lauren Grudzinski. I am currently a senior at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD). I am a Time Based Media major, with a focus in animation.
I am also legally blind.
I mention this not for sympathy or attention but so the viewer will have a better understanding and appreciation for where I am coming from.
Artistry and creativity run deep in my family, so it’s not an exaggeration to say that I have been surrounded by art my entire life.
I am continually motivated and inspired by three of my grandparents who painted and drew respectively, by my mother and step father who are both incredibly talented musicians, and by my father who is a sculptor and professor at MIAD.
